Livewire Update
In April we will be making some changes to the Livewire web site. The most significant of these will be our new resources page. This will provide writers and other interested Livewire Network members with some useful links to other writing-related web sites. In the next few months there will be further changes and additions to the site. These will include:

The "Livewire house style" - When a new product is launched onto the market, it is usually because the organisation concerned has something different to offer the buying public. The romance publishing industry commands a significant percentage of paperback sales world-wide (about 51%). Category romance commands a high proportion of this market share. There is no doubt that the reason traditional romance publishers have been so successful is because romance readers have demanded the types of romance novels that have dominated the market for so long. There is now strong evidence that a significant number of readers of romance fiction want stories that more closely reflect life as it is today. This is why, at Livewire, we're taking a fresh approach to romance fiction. Our lines have evolved from a survey of the types of romance novels that aren't in the marketplace. For instance, our unique "Love Sequels" line allows writers to go into the future to explore relationship problems and marital issues that are part of today's lifestyles.
